NEXO Aligner Treatment Mechanics – Edition 2026/2027
Session 1 – 1st – 3rd October 2026
Day 1
- Why FACE goals and how to apply them to the NEXO System;
- NEXO cases explained step by step where we will see the importance of VTO, (VTS) and its relationship with the final treatment results;
NEXO Diagnostic Template (Bioesthetic Model)step by step for a complete diagnosis; - Step by step interactive demonstration of VTO,(VTS) in 2D and 3D;
- We will present 2 cases for diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment mechanics and we will review the final treatment results;
- Students will work in teams on designated cases;
Day 2
- Introduction to the concept of the Arc of Closure;
- The importance of the arc of closure for successful NEXO treatment;
- Importance of diagnosing occlusal interferences “fulcrum”;
- Presentation by the doctors of the previous two cases and their conclusions;
Day 3
- Introduction to TMJ/TMD Concepts;
- Diagnosis and treatment of TMD signs and symptoms;
Session 2 – 12th – 14th November 2026
Day 1
- Digital planning for splint construction;
- The importance of splints for precision and predictability;
- Splint adjustment: Key points for ideal splint adjustment;
- We will present TMD with full diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment mechanics, and review the final results;
- Students in teams will work on a pre treated case for the next morning;
Day 2
- Vertical Control: Sequence and auxiliaries;
- How to diagnose with precision the treatment of vertical cases;
- Students in teams will present the case of the previous day;
- Importance of vertical control for joint health and stability;
- Planning and treatment sequence VTS (Vertical – Transverse – Saggital);
- Students in teams will present the case of the previous day;
Day 3
- Skeletal Anchorage;
- Sequencing and anchorage VTS;
- Each student will bring a NEXO case with complete; diagnostic records and we will discuss every detail of the treatment plan;
Session 3 – 14th- 16th January 2027
Day 1
- Different types of auxiliaries, elastics, precision cuts, and occlusal stops;
- IPR where when and how;
- Attachments: Where why and when;
- How to customise aligners;
- We will present skeletal anchorage cases with full diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment mechanics, and review the final results;
- Students in teams will work on a pre treated case;
Day 2
- Corticotomies: Why,When and How;
- Surgical technique and protocols for corticotomies;
- Corticotomies and lower incisors to overcome the biological limits;
Day 3
- The Importance of the Transverse Dimension: when to use MARPE or Corticotomies;
- Cases using MARPE and NEXO;
- We will present Corticotomies, MARPE cases with full diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment mechanics, and review the final results;
Students in teams will work on a pre treated case;
Registration& Fees
The price of the course is EUR 7 900 divided into two payments:
Reservation fee: 2 900 EUR
– 5.000 EUR until 31.08.2026 (before session 2)
