Dr Martin Baxmann
Dr. Baxmann is a distinguished speaker, teacher, multiple Amazon best-selling author, entrepreneur, and orthodontist. He is the founder and CEO of Orthodentix®, a prominent orthodontic practice group, MyOrthoLab®-Experts in Orthodontics, a recognized orthodontic specialty laboratory, PlusSmile®, a Doctor4Doctor Aligner Brand, and MyOrthoBooks, a well-regarded orthodontic book publishing company.
Dr. Baxmann earned his Dentistry degree at the University of Göttingen, Germany, and pursued postgraduate studies in Orthodontics at the Guys’, King’s, and St. Thomas’ Dental Institute in London, UK. He received the Dr. med. dent. degree at the University of Bonn, Germany, and served as a visiting Lecturer from 2009 to 2017 in the Master of Science Program at the University of Seville, Spain.
2022 he has been appointed the program director for the international postgraduate Master of Science in Orthodontics program at DTMD University, Luxembourg. With Dr. Baxmann the DTMD provides now MSc Courses in Luxembourg, Warsaw and Dubai.
Acknowledged for his contributions, Dr. Baxmann received the international HealthCare Award and Gamechangers Award from CEO Today magazine in 2018, along with the European Business Award in 2019. In 2021, he joined the scientific advisory board of several dental companies e.g. of a leading European Aligner provider.
With over 18 years of international lecturing experience, Dr. Baxmann is recognized for his year-round curriculum, presenting an evidence-based orthodontic approach known as LeanOrthodontics®. HE also offers a wide range of Online Courses.
Furthermore he continually develops orthodontic products and apps to support this methodology, owning 13 registered product trademarks.
As an editor and author, Dr. Baxmann has led publications such as „Fixed Appliances for Class II Therapy” (Quintessenz Publishing) and the „LeanOrthodontics®” book series (MyOrthoBooks Publishing). Eight of his books have achieved Amazon bestseller status.
He also has published numerous research articles in peer reviewed journals and contributed book chapters to various orthodontic textbooks.
Dr. Baxmann hosts the LeanOrthodontics® podcast, a well-received platform on orthodontics and practice management in german language with over 5,000 subscribers. His social media presence has attracted a global following of more than 25,000 followers.
